The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car crash that occurred Friday in Huron County.
HURON COUNTY, Ohio - The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car crash that occurred Friday in Huron County.
The post said Friday the crash occurred at 4:28 p.m. on New State Road at Dublin Road in Bronson Township. The preliminary investigation reports that Scott Wilkes, 53, of West Salem, was driving his Chevrolet Impala eastbound on Dublin Road. The investigation states that Wilkes failed to stop at a stop sign on New State Road and was struck by Kyle Smialowski, 45, of Norwalk, who was heading southbound in his Chevrolet Silverado HD.
The Highway Patrol said the investigation showed Wilkes’ Impala went off the southwest corner of the intersection and Smialowski’s Silverado HD went off the southeast corner.
