Ohio State running back Miyan Williams returned to practice on Thursday after being held out earlier this week with an illness.
Williams was seen during a period of practice at Mercedes-Benz Stadium that was open to reporters, going through stretching lines and pass protections drills with the rest of the running backs.
The expectation remains for him to be available for Saturday’s College Football Playoff semifinal against top-seeded Georgia, a boost for a backfield that has dealt with a rash of injuries over the past months and faces the top-ranked rush defense in the nation.last month, sidelining him for the following week at Maryland and limiting him to only eight carries in the loss to Michigan that ended the regular season.after his right ankle had more time to heal.
