Governor Mike DeWine announced on Wednesday that Ohioans can add their Ohio-issued driver's license, or state identification card, to their Apple Wallet.
DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted say it can be used at select businesses, apps and atA new, free age verification app for businesses was launched as well, enabling them to accept customer's mobile ID's using an iPhone securely and privately. To get started, businesses can download the Ohio Mobile ID Check app in the App Store.

This technology was developed in collaboration with Apple. You can also use this technology with your Apple Watch. To use this technology, Ohio residents must have a valid and easily readable Ohio driver's license or ID card.
