Ohio state legislative leaders have told their employees to work from home for the next week in response to the rising number of coronavirus cases throughout Ohio and the rest of the country.
he was deploying 1,250 members of the Ohio National Guard to help with staffing issues at hospitals, in addition to the 1,050 members he called up two weeks before.
State lawmakers currently are on their winter recess. The House and Senate’s next sessions both are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 19.
