An investigation found, that from December 2021 to April 2022, while the 27-year-old worked at Direct Computing Solutions in Gallipolis, he downloaded nude and intimate photos from clients’ phones.
GALLIPOLIS , Ohio - A cell phone repairman from Gallia County was indicted on 40 felony charges for downloading private photos from his clients’ phones, including the phones of minors, according to a release from Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost .
Calvin Jordan was charged with three counts of pandering oriented matter involving a child, one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented materials and 36 counts of unauthorized use of property – computer, cable, or telecommunication device in Gallia County Common Pleas Court, according to the release.
Gallipolis Police Department and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation found that more than 40 clients, both male and female, had photos downloaded by Jordan.If Jordan is convicted he will be require to register as a sex offender, according to the release. The release urged customers of the cell phone repair shop who believe that may have been victims to contact BCI at 855-BCI-OHIO or 855-224-6446.
