Ohio appeals court tosses injunction freezing state ban on local gun-control ordinances

The ruling means two Columbus gun-control ordinances will remain on hold pending the outcome of the city's legal challenge and others like it.

The ruling, issued Tuesday by the 10th District Court of Appeals, means that two Columbus ordinances that generally prohibit large-capacity ammunition magazines and require guns to be safely stored out of reach from children, will remain on hold pending the outcome of Columbus’ lawsuit and others similar to it.
