TM Roh, Samsung’s mobile division head, slipped in a little tidbit about the company’s future foldable plans in an interview with The Independent last month: “foldables will expand into other categories like the tablet and PC.” Samsung wouldn’t be the first to go big in the market. Lenovo has already gone there twice with the ThinkPad, as has Asus with a folding ZenBook. But Samsung’s experience doesn’t count for nothing — it’ll be interesting to see what it’s cooking.
