On Monday, Jordan Alan Neves Brewer, 37, of Ogden, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, a lifetime of supervised release, and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution.In February 2024, Brewer admitted that he possessed child pornography while on supervised release for a prior 2012 federal conviction of the same conduct, the U.S. District Attorney's office said.
Brewer also has a state conviction for possession of child pornography. He was reportedly released from his state sentence in 2019 and completed sex offender treatment in 2021. The DA's office said that according to court documents, in March 2023, a U.S. Probation Officer conducted a home inspection at Brewer’s residence and found unapproved electronic devices. A forensic search of Brewer’s laptop reportedly revealed child pornography involving prepubescent children.
