AMID the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict in the Middle East, the Iloilo City Government has taken a step to ensure the safety of 18 Ilonggo overseas Filipino workers in Israel.
As of the latest update, three of the monitored OFWs are situated in the war zone and have sought refuge in bomb shelters. The city's help desk will continue to closely monitor their situation and stand ready to assist, particularly if they express a desire to return home.Umadhay urged the families of OFWs to reach out to the help desk and report details about their relatives in Israel.
