"I do feel sorry for the family that did lose their child, I do pray for you, I hope you guys are OK," a neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said. Investigators said witnesses saw the shooter and several teens running from the scene after the shots were fired, and shortly after saw a dark colored car leaving the area. "I hope they get the justice that they're looking for. It's not going to ever satisfy or replace them losing their child, but it does help a little bit for the grieving process," the neighbor said. Other neighbors who feared appearing on camera told Eyewitness News that Ford was someone's son and someone's sibling. They added that more needs to be done to address this statistic.
