The city of Bay Minette held a ribbon cutting Friday for its new Justice Center, which will house the police department and municipal court.
The new building is located on D’Olive Street next to City Hall and will house the Bay Minette Police Department and Bay Minette Municipal Court.Todd Stewart and his firm, Adams Stewart Architects of Robertsdale designed the three-story building, which was built by Stuart Contracting of Bay Minette.
Bay Minette Municipal Court offices on the first floor of the building will be open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. For more information, or to check the status of a case, call the court at 251-580-2558. The Bay Minette Police Department is located on the second floor. Administrative office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. After hours, those needing on-site police assistance can enter the lobby to access the video and audio call box to communicate with dispatchers.Ribbon cutting held for new Bay Minette Justice Center
