SAN ANTONIO - An investigation continues after a San Antonio Police officer shot a man during a disturbance call involving a man with a knife. The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Friday at the Fredd Townhomes off Dartbrook Drive near Wurzbach Road and Interstate 10 on the Northwest Side. Police said a woman inside one of the townhomes called 911 and said Christopher Dahl, 19, was being violent and threatening to kill her. When officers arrived, they spotted Dahl on the stairwell. He was holding a shotgun and officers say he aimed it at them.
The officers opened fire and hit Dahl several times. At last check, he was still in critical condition.One of the officers involved has been on the force for four years, while the other has been with the department for two months.
