Dallas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred Sunday in Old East Dallas.
Updated at 9:45 p.m. with additional information from Dallas police.
Shortly after 7 p.m., officers who were in the 1900 block of Bennett Avenue in Old East Dallas saw a person who is “known for criminal activity,” and possibly breaking into vehicles, Garcìa said. The person was in the back parking lot of an apartment building, according to a news release.
