The Tukwila Police Department seals off a crime scene after an officer-involved shooting took place early Friday morning. An officer-involved shooting broke out in Tukwila early Friday morning after a suspect fled in a stolen car.
Officers with the Tukwila Police Department initially approached a man in an unlicensed vehicle in the 4200 block of S. 146th Street at 3:20 a.m. Friday, but the suspect sped off after ignoring their commands.“During the pursuit, an officer utilized a PIT maneuver to ultimately stop the fleeing suspect vehicle in the 14200 blk Tukwila International Blvd,” the Tukwila Police Department stated. Toward the end of the pursuit, an officer discharged their firearm. No injuries were reported in the PIT maneuver or shooting.
