The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was called to investigate an officer involved shooting Saturday.

MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio - A person accused of being armed and heading toward Wadsworth High School Saturday night was fatally shot by Medina County Sheriff’s deputies.

Officers also believed that the individual may have been heading to Wadsworth High School, according to the release. At around 10:08 p.m., officers spotted the suspect’s car on Silver Creek Road in Wadsworth Township and officers initiated a traffic stop, according to the release.
