Motorists getting off at the Interstate 480 off-ramp at Great Northern Boulevard southbound better enjoy Memorial Day weekend.

North Olmsted City Engineer Jeff Filarski said the detour -- beginning the week of May 27 -- will have westbound I-480 motorists exit at Clague Road before making their way to Brookpark Road and eventually Great Northern Boulevard. The city engineer estimated that ODOT is nearly halfway through the project, which is expected to be finished by the late summer or early fall.
