BACOLOD CITY – An 89-year-old woman died after she was hit by a motorcycle while crossing a street in Barangay San Jose, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental on Saturday, September 30.
Police Senior Master Sgt. Aldrin Alindao, traffic investigator of the Binalbagan Municipal Police Station, said the victim would usually cross the street but her family failed to notice that she went out of their house.Alindao said the 51-year-old motorcycle driver had minor injuries.
He was released from police custody following an initial settlement with the victim’s family, Alindao said.
