Ocean Township secured a 39-33 upset victory over No. 14 ranked Middletown North in a wrestling tri-match. The Spartans dominated with bonus points in six of their eight wins, including clinching pins by Justin Penta, Nicholas Allen, Daniel Farina, and Boomer Volek.

Ocean Twp opened the match with four straight victories, three of which came with bonus points. Steven Perez opened the match with a 7-5 decision over Jackson Fearon in a 126-pound bout. Justin Farina pinned Shawn Myiow at 132, Dominic Volek recorded a 22-10 major over Justin Fearon at 138 and Boomer Volek added six points with a pin over Tyler Oden at 144.
