OCBC Cycle 2020 cancelled, with virtual event as replacement via yahoosg
SINGAPORE — The OCBC Cycle 2020 mass cycling event, which was initially postponed from 9 and 10 May to the later part of the year, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a media release on Tuesday , event organiser OCBC said that there will instead be a free virtual cycling event over two weeks from 1 to 15 November, when participants can clock up ride distances in Singapore, either indoors or outdoors, over three categories: the Sportive VR , the Straits Times VR and the Mighty Savers Kids VR .
Participants do not need to complete the full distance within one ride, but can do so over a maximum of four separate rides between 1 and 15 November.
