Disney and Lucasfilm shared the first official trailer for the Disney Plus limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 4th (Star Wars Day).
on Wednesday, May 25th. Disney then announced in late March that it was moving the premiere back two days to Friday, May 27th instead. We still don’t know what caused the delay, but we do know that we are getting two episodes on May 27th rather than just one.Joining McGregor and Christensen are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Benny Safdie, Simone Kessell, and Sung Kang.
Deborah Chow directed all six episodes of the series. Joby Harold wrote the scripts. Both Chow and Harold served as executive producers alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, and Ewan McGregor.
