“You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses, I’ve got a problem with that,” Obama said of black men not supporting Harris. “Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president.” Obama went on to say that “women in our lives have been getting our backs this entire time” and that black men not supporting Harris were “putting women down.
Obama knows that Harris does not have an actual pitch to voters based on policy success since the Biden administration she has been a part of is a disaster and since Harris has had to run away from the policies she supported in her 2020 presidential run. He and the Democratic Party are left with shaming minority men for not adhering to the Democratic Party’s ideas of racial political loyalty.
