The 70-year-old died in hospital after the crash on Stevenson Drive on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Stevenson Drive in the Balgreen area of the city at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
A 23-year-old man, who was driving a black Mercedes C-Class, has been arrested in connection with an alleged road traffic offence.
