OAKLAND — Nearly three weeks after she went missing, authorities say an Oakland woman with dementia has been located.
Maria Mooney, 79, had been missing since Feb. 15, and her daughter Martha Mooney offered a $2,000 reward to anyone who had information to help find her mother.She has been located,” the Oakland Police Department said in a tweet Monday. Oakland police officials on Monday afternoon declined to answer questions about how Mooney was located or her current condition.
The family of Mooney told police that she had been located, Paul Chambers, a police spokesperson said Monday. Chambers said he couldn’t offer any other information.
