Two men were hospitalized after injury shootings Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Around 3:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near Brook and 30th streets near the city’s Pill Hill neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a parked white Dodge Ram pickup truck on Brook Street, as well as a second man soon after found suffering from two gunshot wounds nearby in the 3000 block of Broadway. At least one bystander provided treatment to the man in the pickup truck until paramedics arrived.
Both men were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Police did not immediately provide their relation to each other or conditions. Evidence technicians responded to recover multiple casings from the scene blocked off by other officers. For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $10,000 in the shooting.
