Mets fans love Kodai Senga’s strikeouts, so much so one fan made ghost signs to commemorate each of them, but the fun didn’t last too long.

“They’re making them take the ghost signs down,” Mets play-by-play man Gary Cohen said. “Oh, come on guys. It’s only fun.”The fan, sporting a bright Mets blue and orange jacket, looked to be recording security as his signs were taken down.

Senga’s glove depicts a ghost holding a trident-like fork on the outside of the webbing — in honor of his signature pitch — and his name and number are spelled “S3NG4” in orange and black on the side.Senga, 30, has aand debuted with one against the Marlins on April 2, where he allowed one run on three hits, walked three, and recorded eight strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings.

In the fifth inning on Friday, the Japanese right-hander ran into pitch-count trouble, falling one out short of qualifying for the win in a game attended by 11,102.Senga pitched 4²/₃ innings on the day, allowing four walks, and four earned runs on seven hits along with seven strikeouts.
