A person driving a stolen vehicle fled on foot Wednesday night after causing collisions in Oakland that left a man with fatal injuries.
OAKLAND — A man suffered fatal injuries Wednesday night in East Oakland when he was pinned between a car and a mini-van that were hit by a stolen SUV driven by someone who fled the scene on foot, police said.
The deadly chain of events happened about 10:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 4200 block of International Boulevard. Police said the impact from that collision caused the Kia to crash into a Ford Mustang and Chrysler Pacifica that were parked on the south curbside.
