Officials said an extra-alarm fire in the predawn hours Saturday completely destroyed the Oak Forest Bowling Center.
Around 2:30 a.m., a 311 alarm was called at the center located at 15240 S. Cicero Ave. At least 12 surrounding towns helped extinguish the blaze.Oak Forest Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Griffin said the fire was out for the most part and companies were working to extinguish the rest.No one was injured in the fire, and the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
