Dallas rapper Trapboy Freddy was the man arrested Wednesday at a home where a tiger was seized, authorities confirmed Thursday.
Revised 6:17 p.m. Aug. 19 with information from Moore's attorney.at a Red Bird home where a tiger was seized, was released from federal custody Friday.
The U.S. marshals public-affairs office did not respond to requests for more information about the arrest. His attorney, Charlie Humphreys, said Moore was coming back from a veterinarian appointment in Canton with his two dogs when officers conducted a traffic stop and said they smelled marijuana. Moore was arrested on several traffic warrants, and officers later found the gun in a locked box in the glove compartment, Humphreys said.
“He’s a good guy and he’s broken-hearted that this happened,” Humphreys said, adding that Moore only used his mother’s car that morning because it was blocking other cars in. “This was such a sorry set of circumstances.”
