Ohare a bridesmaid again to Atlanta. O'Hare ranked No. 2 busiest airport, FAA says.
O'Hare International Airport beat its Atlanta rival in terms of growth rate for flights in 2022, the Federal Aviation Administration reported Friday.
The FAA counted 711,561 operations at O'Hare in 2022, trailing Hartsfield-Jackson's 724,145. That's a difference of 12,584, about 34 daily flights. The third busiest airport in 2022 was Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, followed by Denver International Airport, and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
