The Panthers outscored the Hawks 19-2 in the fourth quarter to split the season series and improve their playoff positioning late in the season.

After O’Connor suffered a four-game losing streak last month that included a loss to Harlan , the Panthers knew that they wanted Thursday’s rematch against the Hawks to go differently. “That was definitely during one of our rough patches, and we just needed to learn from it,” O’Connor junior forward Hagen Hurst said. With three players scoring in double-digits, O’Connor dominated the fourth quarter to defeat Harlan 66-51 at Paul Taylor Field House and split the season series.
