There’s a new doctor in the house for those needing immediate care — and CityMD may need to watch its back.
The “Care on Demand” program provides a new and appointment-free way for New Yorkers to “procure the full spectrum of top-ranked clinical specialists available at one of our more than 300 locations,” NYU Langone CEO Robert Grossman said.NYU Langone opened a primary care facility on Aug. 19 on Hudson Street in the West Village and another a week later near East 83rd Street on the Upper East Side.
One walk-in clinic is on the Upper East Side and the other is in the West Village. The above image shows NYU Langone’s main medical campus along 1st Avenue between 30th and 34th Street.The primary care centers, meanwhile, are best for routine check-ups, managing chronic conditions and preventive care such as cancer screenings and vaccinations.
