Looking for today's NYT Connections hints? Some help and the answers for today's game are right here to help keep your streak alive.
Each day’s game of NYT Connections goes live at midnight local time. Before today’s NYT Connections hints, here’s what you missed on Sunday:Hey there, Connectors! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I’m very happy to be back with you for another Monday-Friday run of this lil’ column.
I love to kick off the Monday editions of the column with a fun, upbeat song. The idea there is to boost your positivity, and maybe even get you singing and dancing a little. It’s the last full work or school week of the year for many folks, so let’s get into the party spirit with a bumper recommendation. A full album, in fact. And one that isn’t holiday-themed at all, just in case you’re already tired of that stuff. Justice are a French house duo who really broke onto the scene back in 2006 with a fab remix of Simian’s “We Are Your Friends.” The following year, Justice released their debut album,. The band are heavily influenced by rock and disco, and the album is filled with funky tracks. "D.A.N.C.E." – which paid tribute to Michael Jackson – is a single that did well. My favorite track from the album is “DVNO.” The whole thing is great, though. I hope you enjoy it:games and all kinds of other stuff. It’s a lovely, welcoming group of folks. I like to call it our cozy little corner of the internet. You’re more than welcome to join us. Don’t be shy!presents you with a grid of 16 words . The aim is to arrange them into four groups of four. You don’t know how they hit together or what the category for each group is: that’s what you have to figure out. There’s only one correct solution and there are often red herrings. You can guess incorrectly three times. A fourth wrong guess, and it’s game over. Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to deduce, followed by blue, green and purple. Often, the yellow and green groups have synonyms, the blues have cultural references and the purples have some kind of wordplay involved. But this is not a hard and fast rule. Be ready for curveballs – part of the fun ofand similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends using an emoji-based grid. The game tracks your progress too. Many players take pride in having long win streaks or getting a reverse rainbow – correctly guessing the purple, blue, green and yellow groups in that order with no mistakes. That adds an extra little challenge.I’ll first give you a list of today’s words, then a hint for each category. After that, I’ll reveal one word that goes into each group. Then I’ll tell you the category names, followed by the full answers.🟩 Green group — like elephants, redwoods and the Grand Canyon🟪 Purple group — connected by a single main character🟩 Green group — enormous 🟪 Purple group — what "C" might mean MONSTER, SEMI and DUMP worked together as types of trucks, but I didn’t see what would go with them. I figured then that those had to be a red herring. With that notion dismissed, SEMI then had to go with QUARTER, FINAL and QUALIFIER. That took care of the yellows. After hitting shuffle a couple of times, BUMPER and MONSTER landed next to each other. That led me into greens. From there, DIVE and DUMP helped make the blues clear. I haven’t been to a DIVE bar in a while. I should go to one soon! That left the purples on the table. For CELSIUS, the only things that came to mind were degrees and the letter C. The latter matched up with the other words, so I figured that connection out before submitting the final category for the day. Glad to be kicking off the week with a perfect game! It was a regular rainbow too. My streak is now up to 289 wins.Want to know more about how everything fits together? Let’s explore today’s game in more depth in myP.S. I’m not sure where I heard this song, but I made a note to recommend it after it hit my eardrums a while back. I love the laidback beat of “UFO” by Montreal-based MC Sir Louie. It just sounds cool, y’know?hints and help with other word games, and even some video game news, insights and analysis. It helps me out a lot! Sharing this column with other people who play
