Crews remain on the scene of a crash that killed a New York State Thruway Authority worker on Interstate 90 in Chili, Thursday, May 9, 2024.
The workers were setting up a work zone, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul, when they were hit shortly before 12:30 p.m. Trooper Lynnea Crane from New York State Police said no charges have been filed and impairment has been ruled out, but the incident remains under investigation.
