Police responded to a report of gunshots in front of a home in Park Slope, Brooklyn, on Saturday afternoon. Two shell casings were found, but no injuries were reported. Police are attempting to establish dialogue with anyone inside the house.

The NYPD blocked off multiple streets near front of a Park Slope, Brooklyn home Saturday afternoon, responding to a report of gunshots .

According to police, they got a report at about 1:30 p.m. of shots fired in front of 164 St. John’s Place, between 6th and 7th Avenues, and responding officers found two shell casings. Police said no injuries were reported. Police said they were told a man had gone into the house and were trying to establish a dialogue with anyone inside at the time.

As of about 3:20 p.m. the area between 5th and 7th Avenues remained blocked off, and police newly blocked off a stretch of 6th between Lincoln and Stirling Places.
