Five people were stabbed in less than 3 hours in incidents across Manhattan on Friday night.
One of the attacks happened at around 9:30 p.m. near the Chinatown Night Market, which draws large crowds.
According to police, a 33-year-old man was walking near the corner of Canal and Chrystie Streets when someone came from out of nowhere and stabbed him in the neck. "This is my local neighborhood and recently there's been an uprising in crime.
