Summary Percy Jackson and the Olympians will finally arrive this winter, ushering in a brand-new era for Rick Riordan's beloved fantasy stories. The Disney+ series has been in the works since 2020 and will follow the titular protagonist as he reckons with the repercussions of his father's identity: Poseidon.
Screen Rant sat down with production designer Dan Hennah, costume designer Tish Monaghan, VFX supervisor Erik Henry, and ILM VFX supervisor Jeff White to discuss bringing Riordan's work to life, challenging scenes, and what fans will appreciate most. And I just can't wait to see how the kids look, because everything is in shades of gray in that world. I can't wait to see how our kids look in their muted but colored costumes just going through there and having us track them until they finally get to meet Hades.Dan Hennah: He is.
