Berkeley's widely popular Boichik Bagels plans to debut two new stores in the Bay Area, with anticipated openings in November.
Bay Area sensation and New York Times-acclaimed Boichik Bagels is expanding to Marin County. The widely popular bagel business has a new outpost expected to open in Larkspur at 238 Magnolia Ave. in early November. Owner Emily Winston made the announcement on Instagram on Monday morning and shared a photo of keys to the new space. “There’s been endless people begging us to expand to Marin. They won’t have to cross the bridge anymore to get our bagels,” Winston told SFGATE.
funhouse Unlike the other existing storefronts, the Larkspur site will not make in-house bagels due to the building’s small size. Instead, bagels will get delivered twice daily from the Berkeley outpost. Boichik Bagels first opened in 2019 and has been in expansion mode in the past couple years. In March, Winston opened a massive wholesale factory and storefront, first announced in 2021, at 1225 Sixth St. in Berkeley.
