CNN Reporter Miguel Marquez says New York City is “shining a little brighter” one day after the Canada wildfires blanketed the city in smoke.
“Like Sydney, or Los Angeles, or San Francisco where you have those bushfires or those wild fires nearby – they do get smoked in and smoked out by those fires,” he told Sky News Australia.
“What’s amazing about this situation – these fires are hundreds of miles away, there are hundreds of fires burning in Canada, and given these bizarre weather conditions we have it’s pushing all that smoke sort of south.”
