Shropshire nurses strike: Which services are affected and what's the advice to patients?
Health bosses have asked people to "use services wisely" as the latest round of nurses strikes in the county get underway.Nurses on strike at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital earlier this year
Staff at the hospitals, which are managed by Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust, did not vote for the action earlier this year, unlike their colleagues at RJAH and Shropcom. "Regardless of any strike action taking place, it is really important that patients who need urgent medical care continue to come forward as normal, especially in emergency and life-threatening cases – when someone is seriously ill or injured, or their life is at risk."
