A nurse was grabbed by her lanyard
A 22-year-old woman has been arrested following an incident at Northampton General Hospital where a nurse was allegedly assaulted and a patient had water thrown over them.
The incident took place in the A&E department of the Northampton hospital on Friday, January 27. Between 7.30pm and 7.50pm, when a female patient is accused of assaulting a nurse by grabbing her lanyard. The woman is said to have then thrown water over another patient in the department. Northamptonshire Police now want to speak to this patient to assist with enquiries.A force spokesperson said: "They, or anyone who witnessed the incident, should contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Incident number: 23000055778."
Police confirmed a woman had been arrested in connection with the incident, but has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.READ NEXT:
