Darwin Nunez and Joel Matip were among the players to be put through their paces during an intense Liverpool training session - to the delight of onlooking manager Jurgen Klopp.

Long-distance runs, bleep tests and endless amounts of physio work are usually on the agenda and so it was no surprise to see that Reds players looked less than impressed.Matip was also looking tired as he took the opportunity to rest on a piece of the training equipment.
