The number of people who died by suicide in Renfrewshire has increased to the highest level in more than 10 years.

There is also a dedicated St Mirren section that will follow every kick of the ball with the Buddies.Stephen McLellan, chief executive of Paisley-based Recovery Across Mental Health urged anyone who may be contemplating suicide to reach out to services in the area which can help them, including RAMH’s Mental Health Crisis support service, FIRST Crisis, which is available every day of the year, until 8pm on week days and 5pm on weekends and public holidays.
They organised a walk through Barshaw Park in Paisley in a bid to raise their profile and urge all those bereaved by suicide to seek support.
