Nikola Jokić won't play for Serbia at the FIBA World Cup next month after all.
Jokić has played for the Serbian national team three times since the Nuggets selected him with the No. 41 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He competed in two World Cups, first in 2016 and again in 2019, and then again at last summer’s Eurobasket. The FIBA World Cup is set to start on August 25 in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
