Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has admitted that Cape Town City's game plan worked against them on Wednesday night.
Amakhosi slipped to their fourth defeat of the league season after Khanyisa Mayo scored the only goal of the match for City just before the hour-mark.
"But we stayed too deep and we enjoyed possession in wrong areas, that is why we could not put them under more pressure, especially with the chances that we created." "They were fully aware because they did not give us that space, they defended very deep with their centre-backs but we needed to use the space in front of their centre-backs but that is why I'm saying we were a bit late to get into the box especially from our eights," he said.
