A volunteer firefighter has died after suffering a medical episode while working on a bushfire in northern New South Wales today.The NSW RFS Commissioner and Emergency Services Minister have acknowledged the impact on the man's family, fellow RFS members and the local communityThe NSW Rural Fire Service said the man was part of a crew attending a fire at Bean Creek in the Kyogle region.
NSW Emergency Services Minister Jihad Dib said the impact of the man's death would be felt by RFS members and the local community.
