The Liberal federal executive has launched a takeover of the party's New South Wales division after 140 candidates for the upcoming local government elections failed to be nominated.
It comes after party officials in Sydney failed to nominate 140 candidates for the upcoming local government elections.
"More importantly, we owe it to the millions of Australians who are relying on the Liberal Party to return Australia to good government after the next election to get our house in order," the statement said.
