NSW Housing Minister Rose Jackson is calling on all senators to back the Housing Australia Future Fund after the bill failed to pass in the Senate.
“We don’t even know what’s happening with this bill because of the actions of the Greens and the Coalition in the federal senate,” Ms Jackson told Sky News Australia.
“So I really do call on all senators who care about taking action on the housing crisis to get behind the bill. “I’m not pretending it’s going to solve everything but it is going to make a difference, it is going to deliver housing.”
