Going back to Mike Gesicki in 2018, each of the Nittany Lions’ past four starting tight ends have been drafted to the NFL, with three of the four coming in the second round. Theo Johnson’s fourth-round selection this year was the latest in the bunch.
“I think he’s got a shot to go down as one of the best that we’ve had at that position,” Penn State strength coach Chuck Losey said this summer. “I really do. I believe that.
