A week after first boarding a flight to Melbourne, Novak Djokovic finally reached the destination he was hoping for all along on Tuesday: the blue tennis courts of the Australian Open.
Djokovic held his first official practice ahead of the tournament, which begins on Jan. 17, to shake off the rust from what has now become one of the most infamous journeys in sports. against a visa cancellation on Monday means that he is currently free to chase a record 21st Grand Slam title.
