Manchester United are closing in on Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui but the right-back will have to be careful not to break one of Erik ten Hag's non-negotiables
Manchester United target Noussair Mazraoui has already violated a key rule set by Erik ten Hag after publicly questioning team selections at Bayern Munich.
But Ten Hag will not be pleased with some of Mazraoui's behaviour during his stint at Bayern, having joined from Ajax in May 2022. Upon taking the reins at United in 2022, the Dutchman immediately established strict ground rules. "I feel forgotten. The situation is disappointing. I'm no longer the 2nd option in my position but 3rd or 4th," the player admitted to Bild.
Cristiano Ronaldo was the first United star to have a high-profile spat with the manager, having been frozen out after expressing dissatisfaction with not starting games. The Portuguese icon’s contract was then terminated when he chose to air his grievances again in a jaw-dropping interview with Piers Morgan.
